I’m planning to sell my Acer 4600 travelmate laptop and get a new O2 executive PDA. Plz comment on this PDA or recommend any other.

HTC Prophet/Wizard.
XDA Exec is sooooo bulky.. unless u want that dont get it..
What does the laptop have to do with the PDA? The two are not strictly equivalent.
well even i would like to know ur use for the PDA… otherwise.. the Exec is a nice pda a bit bulky though…
VNC+Putty+Messengers to stay in touch with my boss on weekends so precisely for office use(remote access) and offcourse Multimedia(radio) The 3 KG Acer laptop is too bulky to carry everywhere and offcourse there is no Wimax service available to my knowledge in “Mumbai” and “Pune”.

I think a Symbian UIQ based PDA would have all the s/w’s u require, so you should take a look at SE p990i..
BTW heard MTNL gonna roll out its WiMAX service soon in Mumbai..
well then u can check out other PDA’s frm Imate and o2 xda mini … they would serve ur purpose well…

It seems p990i hasn’t been released yet. It was supposed to be available in May…but its delayed now.
So better go with the O2 as other members suggested…or else you can wait for it..
P990i is suppossed to be available at end of 3rd quarter…
