Recover Dead SSD in warranty

I had an 1.5 yr old Crucial P3 500gb SSD die on me. PC was directly booting into BIOS which didn’t detect the SSD. Tried it on laptop second SSD slot and that didn’t detect it either so I am assuming it is an unrecoverable hardware failure. So now I wanted to know what my options are. I am somewhat comfortable with soldering and such but almost 0 experience on electronics outside of Arduino and such. If I can check for dead components with a multi meter then will give that a shot if someone can provide some reference and guides.

This was installed on my parents PC so not sure if there are critical files but dad had some pictures on this without any backup it seems. So how expensive can I expect a data recovery to cost in Bangalore? How will that affect the warranty? I can guess the cost would be very dependent but if someone with experience can share a rough range and mainly if it will void the warranty, that would be great.

Check for shorted capacitors is all you can really do here, and recovery will cost alot of money. If there is nothing of very substantial value is recommended just to get it rmaed rather than doing anything yourself

And yes as soon as the sticker comes off the ssd warranty is gone

Shit, that’s only for the sticker on the back with the warning right? I removed the one on front since it didn’t have one.

That’s a 50- 50 now. If they want they will cause an issue
