So I have Redmi K20 Pro, and now its display is malfunctioning. I am not aware of any proper mobile mechanic from my end, so was hoping anyone can suggest where can I find one. Maybe online? Heard about MAXBHI site. Is it safe?
Please suggest one that doesn’t burn hole in my wallet. Not particularly seeking original quality, as long as its fine since its mostly an emulation device.

Hey, thanks for recommendation. Will check out Buzzmeeh. Though I am aware of Cashify, they’re too expensive. The display cost there is beyond the device’s cost by present standard.
If you’re in Delhi, I know a shop in Nehru Place that can fit a good-quality copy display. It’ll be HD and the phone will work fine, but the in-display fingerprint sensor won’t function. I’m not sure if the one from Maxbhi supports the fingerprint sensor either. That model is definitely more enjoyable with the original display, but if you’re planning to use it as a secondary device, I’d suggest going for another copy display in the ₹1–1.2k range.

K20 series came with OLED screen, are such screens available in Nehru Place or you mean replacement IPS screen?
they are but they usually transplant those dead mobiles they get from other customers in higher rates, i dont they they will get you a new amoled display

Yeah, I know about them, though they’re not technically all indian.
I was in the same boat when I dropped and broke my K20 display in 2021. Not a lot of options available to get an original display. I ended up getting it replaced locally but the phone was a mess after that, the display wasnt too good either. It’ll be better to get it replaced on the cheap and look for a new phone
