My power bank’s outer shell was bulging since a few weeks. When I opened it today to check, both the batteries (5000mAh each) were swollen to atleast twice their original size. So, I disconnected the terminals from the charging board and disposed the batteries.
Since everything else is perfectly fine, I thought of just putting in new batteries and use it more.
While searching online I found a similar battery and also one twice its capacity. Since I don’t have much expertise in this domain, I thought of asking it here. Can I replace the original batteries of 5000mAh each with new 10000mAh ones? effectively doubling its capacity.
Below are some details:

→ 10000mAh battery

–>Datasheet of IC present in the board is attached below
P.S. I know the bigger battery will not fit in the original case, I would modify the existing enclosure by opening its bottom and just extending it. This may seem too tedious compared to buying a new one, but I like to tinker with things and this seemed like a great new project.
