Basically, it’s a 9800X3D with more cores. Gaming + productivity. Makes intel look like poop.
I hate this gen, worse than 7000 series. It only looks good if compared to Ultra 9 285K.
AMD 5000 series is the last good gen → what we have here +50% Perf boost at best while consuming +100% power over 5 year old 5950X.

I love power efficiency, low on bill.. inverter battery last longer on outage..
Indian pricing will be bad. 70K for sure or even higher.
Easily, but in line, considering import tariffs. It’s $700 in the US, which is 61K. +10k is expected. Even the 7950X launched at $700.
9950X (non-X3D) is anyway 61K here.
Bingo -
The only thing I want to know is whether the 9900X and 9950X come down in price anytime soon? :cigar:
triple bingo!
scl gaming - ₹72,990
shweta computers - Rs. 74,699
vishal peripherals - ₹ 74,150
incase someone is looking for this pricing
₹ 56,900
Is 9950x3d the last procssor among the Ryzen 9 Series?
yes
With Intel doing worse, I am not expecting prices to come down any soon or sooner.
This is also aimed at those who would purchase it simply because it is the best and don’t care about the price. This is in fact true for all the higher category product launches this generation. People paying huge premium to scalpers has set a very bad precedent. It will take a cycle of falling purchases for companies to price things competitively. It will probably happen anyway with increasing inflation and the possibility of a US recession.
Upgrading or already upgraded to 9800X3D ?
Thinking about the 9950X3D, will upgrade after i sell this.
Its overly expensive but I think they did fix the latency issue with dual CCD.
