Any idea on what happens to users who have updated to the new UI 8. I think we will have to wait it out.

From what I’ve read, it could be a battery-draining bug, but it hasn’t been confirmed. I have it installed on my S25, but the battery is rock solid.

My uncle has no issues whatsoever. I am just worried about the OEM Unlock for now.

So I have managed to clear the cache of the software update program using adb. This automatically deletes the downloaded update.

Phone is set to not update on startup or to download updates.

There are no more reminders to update since it no longer exists. Checking for update says everything uptodate because Sammy has pulled the update. This sorts out the forced update after downloading it.

Will have to decide now what to do. Locked bootloader or not.

Received another 400mb update today after the big update.

@rockstah Waiting for your experience, are the issues with previous updates resolved here? Mainly OEM Unlock.

It’s still missing. I didn’t face any issue so no idea what’s changed here. It’s probably just security update
