i know its(e250) an older model compared to the clip+ but i got a good deal with the e250 (i am looking at it because clip+ is not available at present, it’s out of stock at pristinenote), keeping that aside… just can anyone compare the SQ(only) with the both devices Rockboxed…
I know nothing about e250, but here’s an old thread from ABI: Sansa Clip or Sansa E250 w/ Rockbox - Sansa Clip / Clip+ Rockbox - abi>>forums. Remember that they are talking about Clip. The difference between Clip/Fuze V1 and Clip+/Fuze V2 is the Soc Chipset (See here to get an idea about the revisions). Clip+ with Rockbox is a little louder than Fuze V1 with Rockbox.
I own a clip plus and as long as the sound quality goes clip+ is good . The stock earphones are the best stock earphones you can get for any device. There is a thread in head-fi forums about the awesomeness of clip+ stock earphones.

Simply put (based on abi thread), Clip+ should be better than e250 as far as SQ goes.
where does the e250 stand when compared to the clip+ and Apple video 5.5G…
I cannot comment any further than that because e250 is way before I even got interested in portable audio. If it was post 2009 Q4, I at least would have read something about it to remember now. You might want to read the review to know about usability and then decide on it.
