SK hynix is set to become the first company in the world to mass-produce HBM4 starting February next year.
The new memory will be used in NVIDIA’s upcoming AI chip Rubin, giving SK hynix a strong lead in the HBM market.
HBM4 doubles bandwidth and improves power efficiency by over 40% compared to the previous generation, developed in collaboration with TSMC.
Rivals are expected to follow later in 2026.
