Tax like UK but service like Somalia.

Surveillance like China but infrastructure like India.

I actually would have supported this if I trusted my govt. to do efficient job with this.

I dont trust them to do anything efficiently and mess it up.

It seems though this may help to send back those almost a million illegal immigrants in India.
especially from Bangladesh.

This may trace some extremists, quite a huge number of Bangladeshish also concocted local documents including aadhar exploiting local loopholes.

In short, it’s not going to make common man’s life easier, rather his bank accounts will toggle on off more and income tax will find it easier to integrate his records to AI analyzed dashboards.

Don’t want to mention future of a high surveillance state, so that discussions does not go off-track.
