Subscription , Software and License selling business is good in India?

Hello everyone,

I’m curious to learn more about the business of reselling digital products, licenses, and subscriptions. Is it legal to resell subscriptions in India? I’ve noticed many people offering subscriptions at lower prices, and I know a few vendors who seem to be earning quite well from it.

Can anyone with experience share the legal implications of this practice and how sellers usually manage it? I’ve even received some offers to join as a reseller, but I’m hesitant because I’m unsure about the risks involved.

Its illegal on many levels, hope you have read the EULA for any enterprise grade software. If you are reselling VL and non retail licenses you are commiting a fraud.

Others sell on Amazon and other platforms using fake accounts and in India by the time aggregators catchup he would have made his buck and start over if needed.

In short its not legal, read EULA carefully and if you want to become a authorized reseller or dristibutor that only works out for Enterprises which follow bonded warehouse not end users.

I am not selling anything or promoting anything here; I just want suggestions. I don’t mind if you remove my thread if you see anything wrong, but I think discussing a specific topic is not promotion.

No man
Just that these days selling subscriptions is a good business but the mega corporations don’t care if it’s 5% of their incomes but if it’s more then it’s a problem.

You have to establish a small vendor style license and begin selling them.

I have been buying Windows 8.1, 10 and 11 licences since the last 15 years from various small vendors and MS does not give a shit about them.

When I go to Shenoy Trade Center, CTC in Secunderabad while buying pc parts they have Windows 10 Retail disks selling at 10k each but I don’t buy from them at all.

Only requirement is that you need to have a selling license that’s all.
