Suggestion: 7.1 Headset for Gaming/Movies/Music

I’m looking for a good 7.1 surround sound headphones. Closed headphones are what I prefer. The budget is around 8k. I don’t want to compromise on the sound quality just because it’s used for gaming, I watch a lot of movies. The music I hear is rock, country, soft metal, trance and sometimes bollywood.

I made this thread a long time ago, but I am still looking for a decent headphone. How is* Roccat Kave 5.1* or* Corsair Vengeance 1500 Dolby*?

Why not get a Denon AH-D1100 they aren’t bad for games and you can google for D1100 gaming performance. For movies and music I can vouch they are amazing.

I’m open to them too. I actually watch movies more than I play games, and can’t use a loud speaker setup, hence headphones.

How are the Denon’s? They seem kind of plasticky, I want something durable. And also, what about Audio Technica ATH-AD700? They’re in the budget range too.

Look into the Sony Pulse **wireless **gaming headset.

It has 7.1 virtualisation for PS3, not sure about PC with USB (Check official specs)

2.1 (2.0?) audio with 3.5mm jack

They are plasticky but that is what makes them super lightweight and comfortable, sound is pretty awesome, big and surrounds you, you also need good soundcard. They are durable of course you need to take care and don’t drop them often, it will not hold if you drop them or crush them accidentally. AD700 is known for its week bass, movies and games are totally out of it to handle.

Just check my thread, have siberia v2’s…
