Hope this is in the right category. I’ve been looking into buying a projector for a while now.
I’m looking for something budget-friendly, 1080p resolution with USB input and audio output as well. I moved into my own apartment a few months ago and I just want something to watch movies and shows on while lounging on my old beanbag :).
The closest I’ve found to my liking is this one on flipkart. But they seem to be unreliable, as in there’s sellers selling the same thing at different prices and under different names and you can’t tell which one will actually work.
I am willing to save up and wait for a better model, but I have other important expenses as well, so if there’s a cheap, working version I can buy right now, I’d be very grateful.
any projector below 40-50k would be objectively bad. there are only a handful of good projector brands everything else is pure e-waste.
have had experience with this its about 8k, the only drawback of projector is that you need to 90% darkness to enjoy, otherwise its just washed out, idk how it is with super expensive projectors but it was a good exp none the less if you have the setup with the speakers and stuff. was running about 110-120 inches and was very clear for 1080p.

Not true. I have Rs 10k projector chinese one quite some time back.
It was absolutely good for the price. Yes you will need dark room but once you achieve that the colors and screen sharpness were also pretty solid. I even watched Fifa world cup on them and it was amazing experience.

You may want to take a look at refurbished projectors. Any consumer product with real quality will be an expensive affair. Then there’s the lower end of the market - pick what you like.

I dont think this is a good idea to buy refurbished one . Firstly in India Amazon refurbished ones are very close to the price of new just 10% or so less.
Second unnecessary trouble. When many chinese options are easily available within 10k and they are pretty solid experience.

tbh, this just does the work but its no way near a good experience. it clearly lacks good colour reproduction, even the black levels, from what i see in the demo, are very poor. On top of that its available from 67k on amazon, I dont know how you got it for 10k.
