Rs. 3000 + shipping for 1 (completely new, not opened box, Just checked what’s inside. )

Rs. 2500 + shipping for other unit ( This unit does not have a charger, It is standard 12V charger used by normal routers , I am unable to find the power/charger adapter )

I also have sfp+(10Gbps) to Rj45 ( 5gbps) adapter, let me know if one wants. ( Same seller on Alibaba ).

Could you please provide more details about Rj45 ( 5gbps) adapter?

cost of SFP ?

Also the SFP+ ports on this switch are 10G/2.5G/1G. Using 5G adapter would be futile correct?

Rs. 1000 + shipping.

Yes , you are correct. But PC does not have built-in in sfp+ port.

For max 10gbps speed it will require DAC cable ( sfp to sfp ). I don’t have any device with sfp+ ports, hence I used this converter. Its active and it heats up.

if one has 1G / 10G SFP+ port in switch then this will negotiate at 1G ?

That is correct.

Not always, some of the modules does do active conversion to the other end’s port specification. For eg, some people used the following module which mapped to their 2.5G interface,

Could you post the screenshot? Especially indicating if it supports network segmentation with VLAN trunking?

It is an active adapter. It has a speed select switch on the back of pcb ( shown in the image). It heats up. It will output either Max 2.5gbps or max 5gbps ( 2 switch positions ) but it will accept 10gbps input from sfp+ port of the switch.

So if I use this module in the SFP+ port of a switch which only does 1G/10G, and then hook up the ethernet side to a 2.5G system, we can get 2.5Gbps throughput using the switch?

I will check in an hour with my usb 3 to rj45 2.5gbps adpater and let you know. It will mostly work.

Is this what you need. There are many options. I am not familiar with these options. Do you mean LACP, Link aggregation in the following pic ?

Yes, this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much. Do you have any numbers on power consumption of this device?

Also ygpm.
