Had bought a Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in August as an upgrade to my 2 and a half year old Honor View 10 and was very happy with the device, especially it’s insane battery life.
However couldn’t stop myself from grabbing the G8X in the Flipkart BBD sale as it was a phone I was really interested in and had nearly purchased at launch in January.
Since LG had removed the charger from the package ordered one from MI and the Huawei Wireless Charger from Amazon. The Huawei was chosen, not because of higher wattage, but because of built-in fan. Dual screen is definitely a novelty but helps when one wants to reply to some chats while watching a video. Also a third-party app is there which allows system-wide ‘wide-view’ which looks unique.
Since my plans had always been to use the phone as a DAP, had ordered a Samsung 256GB card during August sale.
Thanks to Red Dragon, got enticed into ordering the HD25 as well during this sale.
Had ordered this bluetooth cable for my CCA C16 sometime in September. Honestly, it is convenient, but it reduces the sound quality for me. Should have bought a Bluetooth DAC instead.

I read somewhere, probably reddit, that LG doesn’t honour warranty if you don’t take an LG charger to the service center to show them !

Within 30 days. Actually, for UAE, if you purchase 60$ item which comes unders aliexpress direct shipping catergory it will come fast and also all the item will club in one package and company like Aramex or Skynet the package to your door step. And it easily pass the custom.

Thanks for the links. I have the Dewalt DCF887. I have lots of dewalt impact rated bits and stuff as well including the right angled adaptor but all this was bought through Amazon.com long before duties were increased to the now absurd levels. I broke my 1/4 inch hex to 1/2 inch socket adaptor foolishly trying to use it where an impact wrench was needed.

Pros: Compact, light, one handed use possible, seems snappier than P2XL (phone was usable while installing apps in background - which wasn’t possible with P2XL - but have to check in the long run), fabric case is awesome as usual
Cons: Screen is a massive let down from P2XL, it’s less punchy, less contrast, less bright, phone refuses to charge via my laptop’s USB C port (P2XL fast charges with the same port), volume rocker is a tad hard to press
Have to check: Camera, general usability, speakers, call etc.
Flipkart experience: Box comes with 2 seals, one was already broken, but it’s nigh impossible to open the box without opening both seals, so I am not making much of it. Everything else was packed neatly, so unless the phone malfunctions, I guess it should be OK.

For me, through normal USB port( A type), its charging fine and its quick as well. Volume rocker is better with the case i’m using (https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B083Q4SY5G/).
