Chair is from a brand called EEzy may be from Delhi, Got it for 14k, I know the dealer charged extra 2-4k here but requirement was urgent.
Table is 2 years old, custom designed by myself. Got it done for 15k using MDF board and Mica.
I want to make my cable myself too, with proper length. many time i though of getting these tools but always taken a step back due to some or other reasons.
Is it hard to make my own patch cables, can anyone do this ?
i know, but apart from blue, everything else is expensive – and i don’t want to put money in keyboard ; not more than 3-4k max.
I kind of packed that keyboard after a day of use, ( not able to make mind if i sell it or keep it).
using the old membrane one with 80% keys letter washed i think its earlier to figure out the washed key-caps than to listen to the click click annoyance… specially in evening.
I use mat by default, how we add foam inside the keyboard. ?
this is the url of the kbd - https://www.thecosmicbyte.com/gaming-accessories/gaming-keyboard/cosmic-byte-cb-gk-24-equinox-alturas-per-key-rgb-mechanical-keyboard-with-outemu-blue-switches-wrist-rest-programmable-keys-memory-keys-black
Anyone can do the cables and you can have the connector config found easily on the net.
However, based on the personal experience - it is not for regular people as we don’t require crimping frequently. At times you will find the pre-made patch cables easy to get than getting connector, crimping tool and going through hassle.
Not trying to underplay your irritation with blue switches, but why do you say so about prices? Especially with cosmic byte, I see very similar prices in most keyboard types for blue, brown and red switches. E.g.
1699 for red and blue both :
This particular model, Equinox Alturas is an outlier which only has blue.
damn, why i haven’t seen these model before… amazon was only showing me smaller keyboards with no number keys and in some even smaller ones..
( i have zero knowledge of mech keyboard)
Awesome to see such contributions !! keep up the great work.

Admin Saar, sorry for OT, but what might be a poor man’s FZs in your opinion?
It was out of stock for quite some time in Amazon and CB website. Recently in stock. I got this keyboard with red switches as I wanted to switch from TVS blue one. Just had to get used to the smaller size of the keyboard
It’s relatively easy with passthrough connectors. But —
— this is very true. It’s really much more easier and better to get readymade cables. We now have really good options available, my favorites are the iVoltaa and Live Tech ones from Amazon. The Fedus branded ones are also very nice and come in fun, vibrant colours:
I have a unique use case where I have super long runs that were done years ago through conduit (electrical pipes) around the outside perimeter of the house. If I were doing this for the first time today, I’d put in ready made cables instead but as it stands it’ll be a huge hassle to re-do those runs.

1 meter patch cable costs Rs400, where as 10meter costs only Rs1500.. get the 10meter & make 10cables out of it..
even if you factor in crimper & RJ jacks at Rs1500 for the combo
1 meter cable costs only Rs300
& the beauty of the whole thing is .. no more dangling extra wire, as most of the times it is hard to find EXACT length required. Its a one time hassle but if you have long cables, they attract dust & don’t look neat.
TVS XL100
& the life would be so simpler
It’s an excellent moped well suited to our road conditions tbh, it’s only got that stigma attached that keeps it away from urban people.

I am worse in this regard, but I hear most plants need darkness for some time. This is not on full night, is it ?
So I checked and these are 2933mhz 1SR CL21 Rdimm ECC memorey.
Compatiable with Intel Xeon ice lake sp,cascade lake sp,cooper lake sp and AMD EPYC 7000 series.
Aperantly these are suppose to be super expensive around $250 each, I paid about that much for all 4
My motherboard supports upto 3200mhz UDIMM ECC memory.
So they have to go back.
