Family had enough of my mechanical keyboard mashing. Had to switch to something quiet and well, I couldn’t settle for less.

I am using these since last year, quiet, comfortable, unified dongle (and no RGB bling !) - all in all a fantastic pairing for WFH.

Unless it is built into the charging circuit to limit it to 80% internally and yet show 100% to the user then yes, maybe. I have a LG G8x and Sammy M51 and both show 100%.

Try updating the M51 to android 12. I updated my samsung to A12 and now they have this thing( not 80 percent but 85 percent) to limit charge.

if you run PixelExperience or AOSP Custom Rom - this feature already exists - Currently running Crdroid on Poco F1 - in CrDrooid it is called Smart Charging and has nice slider to decide cut-off % (has min of 80%).

In Samsung, if you go to Settings > search for “battery” > “More Battery settings”, there is an option called “Protect Battery”. Enabling it limits the maximum charge to 85%.
