^^^ That Pug pic is darn sharp.

Very nice.

Blufox: Some amazing snaps there!!

Pranay: the pug shot is nice, but you would want to adjust the WB of the laughing buddha snap.

Capturing the contrasting scene by Sahil Udani, on Flickr

Please do post the details of your gear for the shots. Does help others :face_with_tongue:

Mahesh: Flickr does capture the EXIF data. I suppose in the event if EXIF data is absent, people should post it manually.

What happened to the top right corner ? Anyway, it’s a very nice pic, I like the distance you created.

Hi, I’m new to photography world, bought Sony DSC-W530. Though it’s basic Point & Shoot camera, but still any basic photography lessons that can help me to click better photographs with the basic P&S camera??

And of someone has this same model, or used it before, please suggest some settings(I don’t know whether manual settings can be done, so if applicable) instead of auto settings.

Was using the gradient tool, to compensate for the over exposure of the sky, apparently the top right corner had a bit of vignetting, and lower exposure. I could have corrected it, but liked the effect

Doc: Nice snaps, but I guess you need to adjust the WB for indoor snaps…

..to make the colour more neutral and remove the tint?

^^ Yes. Most of the cameras get the auto WB wrong indoors..

ok guys will remember the tip…but the lights in the tussauds was yellow…but as far as i remember i measured the wb…

I wantedly used the cloudy setting to make the scene orangish , because I thougt it would be good that way. I thought if I use normal colours, the photo might look more… normal:)

Hmm, in the event it makes sense…
