Most of the Srilankan and Bangladeshi citizens and refugees are spread far and wide in Asia , Europe and Amercia . Most of them are doing better than Indians in those regions . So foreign remittances are good and they will survive .
For example Bangladeshis migrate to Solomon Islands and marry locals . The local laws are women centric - meaning that all land from the family goes to women and not men . All that they do is to go there ,marry a local and settle down . Same with Srilankans . Many countries have banned visas or shadow banned Bangladeshis entering their country .
The pacific people have learnt the art of bargaining with US and the China . So both the powers keep giving free money to maintain their relationship ,access and superiority . Now , the same is happening . Srilanka and Bangladesh seem to be following that with India and China . The USA has issues all over the world to deal with and I am sure they are not focused on Bangladesh as we speak . They know China and India will weaken themselves giving aid , infra projects , businesses to the countries around Indian sub continent .
Now , the bigger problem is while Indian govt keeps doling out tax payers money in the name of relief and funding , the actual problem is with crony capitalists who are seeking a pie from these countries behind back door . Back door strong arm tactics are not working out because they have the Chinese influence to counter and they turn rogues . But , the bigger rogue is the one promoting the cronies and forcing these countries to act counter against the interests of our country .
Wondering whether there is some kind of purposeful ânews ignoranceâ going on in our media, there is Arakan army conflicts ongoing within that country and they are being highly maneuverable and effecting now.

i wonât worry about that. we had 75+ years to do it, it didnât happen. Just look at our 2 dumb neighbours -pak1 & 2. both have gone through coups etc because they decided the british style of governance was not to their liking. We are still standing strong because we have a strong system which the british gave us and we have made it stronger. A&A know running the govt is not easy. Any businessman will become mad looking at the red tape and the slow speed of work in the govt. If they use AI to increase productivity in govt, I wonât feel bad if they try to push some agenda of theirs. Itâs not the end of the world like some are making it out to be. If they were interested in owning the govt, they would have bought up all the ministers by now. Just tata, godrej, adani, ambani, birla, and a few others have enough earnings of a small country. iâm sure they could have bought out everyone and could have privatized the govt long time back if they wanted.

Plus I think Elon is just the front face of this mess. No way he could do all this without backing from other private companies and ceoâs and people in power. The way they are systematically removing things there seems to suggest a bigger group is involved in it. One or two guys couldnât possibly think of all of this. Thereâs posts talking about education, osha etc being put up for removal in their version of government. Their entire private sector and banks are probably involved in it.

Yes. There are more direct impacts on us too possible : covid and Boeing Max disasters were also under Trump. And Trump undoubtedly removed safeguards that could have prevented them. Boeing Max disasters were bad for the reputation of Boeing, but mostly people from other countries died in the 2 accidents directly attributable to it. Covid was obviously an unmitigated disaster for the whole world, and âcoincidentallyâ safeguards in both intelligence and virus research were removed in the preceding 3 years.
