Why should US AID be classified, after all its AID.
Zelensky himself said that the US AID he received by ukraine is only 85 billion much less then the numbers the Biden Government officially sent. So it means the rest of money is going back into the pockets of NGO who have a members of US senate and house of representatives as a board member in those NGO.
Why else would they send billions to some third world country when their own citizens have been left homeless by fire or hurricane or even the traditional homeless people in the USA.
Every senate member who opposes RFK Jr has taken millions froms pharma companies.
Every senate member that opposes Tulsi gabbard have taken money from the MIC.
CIA with its 50 to 100 billion black budget can do what ever it wants and there is no over sight. Some of itâs actions are done via the US AID and the fact that DOGE has acess to it and the Treasury means, the tap is going to be closed and with it all the kick backs that US politicians get.
Even Janet Yellen the former chairwoman of federal reserve makes 7 million in speaking fees. Nicky Haley made who was million dollars in debt went on to become a multi millionare after quting as the US ambassador to UN. She demands a private jet and 1 million in speaking fees basically lobbying and spreading the US narrative.
Huh, Trump was himself not told about the origins of Covid or the US funded gain of reasearch in Wuhan.
Officals working under Trump even bragged lying to Trump about troops in Syria.
Boeing MAX has nothing to do with Trump.
Itâs all due to maximizing profits and DEI. When you hire some one based on their skin color or race only vs based on merit, expect every company to go down hill.
Yes, when the boss doesnât know what the underlings are doing, the boss is dumb. Whole organisation, country or the world might suffer.
The whole platform of Trump in particular, and republicans in general is deregulation. Leave corporates to do whatever they want with lower oversight, lower taxes etc. Specifically with Boeing Max, FAA allowed Boeing to certify themselves.
The detailed report has been released recently, and this guy was giving Boeing the benefit of doubt until recently :
,
But he has also come to the conclusion that the report is damning. And FAA allowed Boeing to do the job of FAA.
The line of reasoning from Trump to deregulation to FAA to Boeing Max to crashes is very clear.
In one of his talks Mike Benz says USAid isnât at all what it says but something more nefarious. But they donât operate alone and with other NGOs.
Look, Iâm a fan of the school that says shape your environment lest it shape you. Standard statecraft. So recognise it as such.
Meaning if we arenât fcu**ing around internally with ALL of our neighbours then weâre losing a trick. The degree to which we do this waxes and wanes over the decades depending on who is in office.
We already have a working model. The Afghan one. Work to build the reservoir of goodwill towards India among the natives
If a country like India whose capital doesnât even have breathable air can send a billion dollars in foreign aid every year, than US can surely send that much, itâs not a massive amount.
Tata ,Godrej , Birla were vassals of the British to be honest . They were part of East India company . Tata till date has had more contracts and easy govt money than any other corporate in India before as well as after independence . The British did not invent governance . We had governance before the British came . The romans , greeks had governance and well written laws .
Disagree. After WW2, their idea of cultivating allies and partners was akin to gardening. Their alliances endured right through the cold war and into the present day. Yes, there is bickering and that is normal. But with Trump who else can they run to.
Greatest threat to American hegemony was always internal. Where they lose interest in being leader of the free world as was the case with Obama and Biden. Over three terms you saw American deterence weaken to some extent vice Russia, Iran & China.
If we had a common governance why did we fall apart so easily? There was no India as a whole at the time the British came. It was just 20-30 kingdoms all having their own territories and own laws. There was no one law for all kingdoms. The British unified all the squabbling kings and got them to form a unified India. The only reason the kings settled was because they got vast sums of money to side with the British and they were always on the losing side when it came to wars. I never said the British invented governance.
I would like to see some source on your claims of Tata, Godrej, Birla being a part of the East India company. Tata group was established in 1868 ([Wikipedia](â
So youâre telling me the three Indian companies got easy contracts from an almost shut down company without any monopoly, without any managing role in the govt? Show me enough sources like I showed here and not some âtrust me broâ type sources.
and what, if (after few days/month/years) USA leave Gaza with all High-end Arms, Ammunitions, rocket, missiles, 5th Gen fighter jets etc. etc., like they did in Afghanistan?
Is US plan to provide high end mass destruction weaponsâ illegally (with legal ways.. like âwe canât collect it in time/short noticeâ and leave it for Hezbollah to set wildfire in middle east)?
dear here on TE members selling their used products at higher price and use various tricks & fancy words by hiding price etc. etc. and even some time rig thread/post via likes, bumps etc⌠and if someone point out that price is higher than the sellers get offend ⌠and we are talking about Tata, Adani & Ambani
I have not read others, but Iâve read a more complete excerpt from this Yale book - canât find an online view now. It, and even this more limited part linked here, proves the opposite of what is being discussed. It shows Tata as an Indian ânationalistâ - the group was among the founders of Indian National Congress, donated a lot to the Indian nationalist cause, and the British were often against Tata group for these reasons.
Why it is, or at least can be, interpreted as âvassalâ of the British government is :
Tata had good relationship with other businessmen in Britain : not always and necessarily good relationship with the British government in India. People short-sightedly conflate different British people as the same.
The Indian nationalist movement, until 1920s was not about driving the British out, but getting fair treatment for Indian people. E.g. Gandhi and âPurna Swarajâ was launched only in 1930. But people who donât know this look at 19th century ânationalistsâ from the lens coloured by the later stages of the freedom movement.
