Thermal pads for nvme ssd

Urgent need : where and which ones to buy?
Board asrock x570 taichi
Nvme slot thermal pad had worn out, SSD was getting hot.
I need to buy some ASAP..please help, guide

This looks like 1mm thickness pad, you can order online and try both 1mm and 1.5mm for whichever fits better.

For now i have put the SSD in M2_1 slot, that has helped reduce the temps. I want really high quality ones so i can wait and buy. Let me search for the 1mm to 1.5mm pads.

Get them online, they are hard to find offline, and even if you did, they are thicker, not suitable for ssd

These look generic but have a rating of 4.1

And

These are heatsinks, that come with similar thermal pads as above.. These also have a rating of 4.2..

Didn’t end up purchasing either at that time, but these were still in my cart so I thought I should share..

Good suggestions given in this video for using the thermal pads in efficient manner, to increase the cooling efficiency. We basically need to use two different thermal pads of different width and then apply them properly to make sure that there is no difference in the overall width and they make proper contact with the cooling surface.

the heat sink absorbs the heat but without a active cooling how will the heat sink gets cool. all it does is retain heat and after sometime it gets over heated? or am i wrong?

this is the reason legion and many other high end laptop put a 3rd fan inside to cool ram, sdd and some other chips. which is also not enough

instead of thermal pads gets the putty. works a lot better and you can custom make it in all sizes

the only problem is its a bit costly. around 23$ for 20g
