Thank you.
I guess it’s a bit late now that it’s sold, but did you own this laptop and have the rights to sell it? This seems to be part of an active enterprise fleet, and not one of those that are wiped and sold to resellers. It still has the asset tag and company branding in the images.
These laptops don’t have MDM, if this is what you mean.
When companies refresh hardware, they sell off old laptops in bulk. Many times the sticker is never removed. Company sticker or asset tag is not ownership. Lenovo warranty is hardware-based, not owner-based.
And Yes I own this laptop and not acquired by wrong means.
@calvin1719 Thanks for bringing this up, as I was not aware of any such active enterprise fleet issues etc.
@baranwal thanks for clarifying that this laptop doesn’t fall under those type of conditions.
Anyone have suggestions for the best ways to remove all such logo and other stickers, to give the laptop a neat and clean look?
Or is it better to apply some sort of layer on top of the complete laptop, just as some people get it laminated etc. I would be willing to spend 1-2K if that could give it good external looks. Please suggest.
Thank you so much.
You are right.
Just apply a good quality skin that would cost around Rs.700/-. You are all set !
IPA and some patience
On Earlier Thinkpads only needed Magic Eraser and some water did the Job.
I used to also rub some Eucalyptus oil to keep it shiny and clean.
@alpha5555 request you to please share feedback.
Positive feedback added. Thank you.
