This time it's a mouse! Razer Basilisk Ultimate W/ Chroma Charging dock

Hello Bois and Gals,

I am putting up my Razer Basilisk Ultimate (with the Razer Dock Chroma) for sale. Why? Because I need a lighter mouse at this point. This thing is a chonky boi, and with my long work hours during weekdays, wrist fatigue has become a real issue.

It also has some good stuff like a built-in dongle-storage space, scroll tilt click, and scroll resistance adjustment wheel.

A couple of things, for transparency and general information:

  • The mouse functions absolutely fine. No scroll or click issues. There is just general wear and tear, like the side rubber grips being worn out. This may be remedied with a skin?
  • The cover for the “sniper” button snapped off a long time ago. It’s a useless button anyway. It’s too hard to reach. I don’t even know if it works anymore; it seems to be stuck
  • The charging dock is very, very iffy at this point. Most of the time, it will fail to start charging the mouse. Sometimes it may work. It’s a matter of luck. YMMV. I’ve noticed if the contact points are sprayed with some isopropyl alcohol, it registers more frequently. Testing warranty WILL NOT be applicable for this issue. You can still charge the mouse with the included cable. The dock is still handy in the sense that it has a separate housing for the dongle.
  • Battery life is still decent. It gets me through 2-2.5 days of heavy workdays
  • Comes with the box

If the price is “too good to be true”? It’s pretty much safe to say I’m not a scammer, which (most) older members would attest to.

If the price is too high (no joke, I may be out of tune, and would happily like to be corrected), then it goes unsold IG :sob:

No shipping (please don’t hate me :D). I don’t have time to pack and send, and I’m super lazy (read: sloth).

You can pick this up from my place starting Monday (18/8), after 12 pm. I will offer you a cold glass of water, for sure :poop:

Preference will be in order of messages received (local pickups)

Thank you, and have a good, fun-filled evening with your vices :speak_no_evil_monkey:

Did you decide on your new mouse? Which one?

Likely a Deathadder V3 Pro

Wildly different shape from your basilisk. And suited for average to large hands I think.

Can relate to this feeling. Same reason I stopped using mice like MX Master and went to a G Pro X Superlight. This thing is so comfortable to use and move around and I get way less fatigue during gaming/productivity. Good to know Razer also has similar options now.

I wish Logitech would make a new mouse with the best of MX Master features (priority to scroll, then the ergonomics) with GPXS-like weight.

GLWS though I guess that’s not needed.

I considered the Superlight initially. Ultimately chose the V3 Pro because of USB-C, and my fear of Logi’s propensity for double-click issues. Both weigh around the same and priced similarly.

It’s the one thing I absolutely hate about it.

I wish there was a 3rd option though, cause last I checked, Razer still tries to force their software into Windows on plugging in. Logi doesn’t do that at present I think but their crapware is still as bad and I’m sure they’ll default to doing something as bad sometime soon.

You can also check beyond the standard Logitech and Razer options too, you know. Like I was telling the other day, I got myself a vxe r1 se+ the other day. Sweet mouse at a sweet price.

I think the weight adds to the stability? People doing 3d work with the mx may attest. I have the mx 2s and used it just to test it out.. too heavy for day to day work.

I looked into it, the delivery date range is well into 10-14 days. I needed something by Monday
