Tuniq 120 Extreme

Now is this one going to be the new king of air coolers…???

Someone on XS did a small review and it even beats the CM V10..by a mile..5 heatpipes, fan in the middle, so u have a push and pull system running at the same time…now lets see what it can do against the megahalems and the true.

i can’t say that right now as no reviews are out yet.

But,Tuniq has the name for providing some of the best Price VS Performance products.

Short review on XS :

Noctua NH-U12P (NF-P12 fan) Idle 25 Load 45

CM V8 (Stock fan) Idle 25 Load 46

CM V10 (Stock fan) Idle 24 Load 39

Tuniq Extreme 120 (Stock fan min rpm) Idle 24 Load 40

Tuniq Extreme 120 (Stock fan medium rpm) Idle 24 Load 36

Tuniq Extreme 120 (Stock fan max rpm) Idle 23.5 Load 34

wow!! looks hawt and the weight is impressive for a heat sink of that dimension..

if you want the best air cooler in the market i’ve got only 3 names -

1)Coolermaster V10 (bcoz of peltier effect)

2)Thermalright True Copper

3)Prolimatech Megahalems.

This seems to beat the V10 so think again…and V10 is useless on an AMD cause the peltier comes into effect only after 50 deg C, by which time ure pretty close to the thermal limit anyway.

i will not agree with you on that :no_entry: as the V10 has 200W+ cooling technology with it’s T.E.C :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: Thermo Electric Cooler (which uses Peltier Effect) built in & the best cooling anyone can get on air is with thermoelectric cooler.
Have a Peak

I doubt it, but even then, this should cost you around 8k in India and the 120 extreme will cost u max 2.7k or so…do the math.

Please do keep in mind that the TEC starts only at 50 degs, thats what it is programmed to do.

So there u go…looks like this is the new king…thanks for that wingy

ya i know that but have a look at my earlier post in this thread in which i’ve mentioned this as one of the best air coolers & i suppose if you want something that is the best then you hardly think how much does it costs.

Anyone geting it?..It was available two months ago @ arnd 70$ Prices have fallen I guess

i checked newegg its there for $55 but does nt lists socket 1366 in the compatibility list

it is compatiable with 1366 + 1156 socket. it released just 2 months ago.

i dont understand why they dont use sccf to compete along.. :expressionless:

^CCF’s old-school already! Heatsinks which utilizes the heatpipe-direct-touch tech would dare hold a candle to overclocked quad-cores like the i7 which crosses 80’C at 4GHz+ on superior heatsinks like the TRU120E and the Megahalems.

Shripad’s review of the Megahalems clearly bought the picture of comparison b/w all the major heatsinks to light.

:face_with_tongue: ..

+1 :face_with_tongue:

^Lol I second that as well.
