They also signed another LOI for 150 Gripen fighter jets from Sweden.

Chakar kya hai…we 4th largest economy thinking 10 times about buying remaining Rafale jets.

And this country that is in war and is neither any big economy.( They do have minerals and other resources for sure )
Goes on to sign 250 fighter jets deals.

Ofcourse it’s just LOI but where are they going to get so much money to pay for these if deal finally materialise.

I am not able to understand the behind the scenes picture.

Or is it a tactic to put pressure on India to quickly finalize the Rafale deal.

What you guys think.

One should remember it is a country that is at war that too with Russia and toyed by US and rest of Europe. The moolah is all but gone. A tiny country with damages upto the brim. Sure thay have resources. By the time France upholds the deal and starts delivering the planes in batches, the war would have come to an end. That 250 is a nice big number though.

exactly. I am not understanding …How are they going to pay for this?

Even Indian Ministry has mentioned them being costly purchases and will take time to finalize.

and we are much better position than Ukraine atleast.

He will beg US/EU/Middle East for funding this purchase.

US and EU may make sense but why will middle east fund him.
Even that is highly doubtful. Giving 250 jets to Ukraine from their own tax payers money.

Middle East has great relations with Russia-Putin.
