Unofficial Windows 11 requirements bypass tool now allows you to disable all AI features

I wouldnt use these for movies, they tend to mess the colors too much for me - ex skin would be completely off. Same reason why these tools are worse for gaming, they dont look at game data and just map SDR to HDR. So you can get clipping, wild colors, banding etc.

Better tools use game’s own data ( non-HDR games convert from HDR to SDR and lose info) to get proper HDR without clipping, they also fix raised blacks. Saturation can then be tinkered by user if needed.

But yes, one may need to tinker a bit. But i would say anyone willing to install LTSC should be fine with tinkering, its not too hard.

And most people dont have a good HDR screen. So i dont think this matters for the majority.

In return i dont have to deal with the shitware from windows. I havent still installed LTSC 11 because 10 works fine for me. 11 LTSC probably has autohdr. But i dont think ill move anytime soon.

I think its a misunderstanding that people think LTSC is not good for gaming. Unless you have a specific reason. Only one i can think of is if gamepass needs it for some reason, beyond store itself. I have no interest in gamepass, so dunno.

Drivers - i always install from gpu company directly and disable gpu driver updates via windows update. Windows update has messed up my drivers a few times, so a big no in getting it from windows.

Just do a google search, and most people seem to be happy with it.

The LTSC user base isn’t tracked but I will not be surprised if it hasn’t grown over the years.

I have set up my Ally with IoT LTSC, drivers and the store, nothing else. It is significantly better for gaming as well if you don’t use the device for regular laptop/desktop work.

It is absolutely a bad idea now to go with any new Windows 11 releases or feature drops.

I will try.

At this point , MS should simply tighten the counterfeit Windows os and implement a vanilla version , ie without any AI or online stuff and give to users..

They can make more money of it..
