Need a laptop with in $800 in US .can any one suggest a website for best buy..

1.not for gaming
2.to run Huge software applications like SAP etc.,
check out newegg. Go for laptop with i7 proccesor as you would be running huge software applications etc.

Don’t go for HP or Dell(my 2 cents). Check out Square Trade’s Notebook reliability report of Dec 2009. I would say Asus or maybe Lenovo/ Acer or Samsung. You should let us know the reason you need the notebook. Gaming? Extreme portability? Desktop replacement? 10 hours + battery? weight less than 2kg? gaming laptop? what?
Personally, I am looking at the UL 30 series from Asus as I will use the notebook only for web surfing, MS Office, some movies, music and a little gaming. I was looking at netbooks but found the 10" screen a deal breaker. The CULV proc instead of the Intel Atom and the 13.3" screen instead of 10.1" made me look that way. Now I’m waiting for one of my friends to get one for me from the US.
Btw, start at amazon and use the options on the left: under $800, best selling, rated 4 stars and up - and then you can shortlist the ones you like.
