@Pauljacob can you give us a quote for 4 5 drives ?
Is desertcart legit, never used it before?
Just a note on shipping hard drives internationally, they’ll take a significantly longer route to reach your hands, hence higher probability of shipping damage. And if damaged during shipping, and for whatever reason you’re not able to return to the store, WD does not provide international warranty iirc.
If someone coming from US, best way to get this is through them right? No shipping cost or anything, or is there?
I am interested in buying a few drives as well. Could we do a group buy?
Add me too. There is also 20tb ones if you all are interested.
@Pauljacob Add me for a quotes. Give us a good one there bro.
PS: There is a chance to add another 10/15/20% discount if we purchase from WD itself.
Share link for 20tb
how hard is it to find the item?
Hey guys, sorry but HDDs would be difficult to import primarily due to their fragile nature which can lead to them getting damaged when shipping, getting repackaged or opened by Customs.
Yea customs can be PITA. They tend to shred open the package and repacking is not done properly

This drive need the 1–3 pin to be taped or legacy molex cable to be used as internal disk.
Ordered and cancelled because read few reviews and thread where they mentioned drive have a substantial failure rate around 2 or 3 year.
If some one is looking for casual backup this is very good deal , but if you need it to store important documents and files better to go with enterprises drives.
