Now will need a pencil and keyboard for it but looking for a cheap alternative also if it is available from 3rd party and experience is good with too.
I can look at the apple one also if it is available for decent and resaoible price but I know 3rd party nowadays are also good and much cheaper.
please suggest.
depends on what will you use the pencil for if you need it for professional drawing go for apple official one, if you only wanna use the pencil for notes ,scribble etc than go for an off brand one they are very good for basic stuff ,i personally bought a portronics pencil for 700~ rs works great for me.
@solo_wing I use the Glide and the Logitech pencil. And I love the feel of the Logitech one. It is built well and in my opinion feels better than the original Apple Pencil (but that’s opinion).
It is also more robust, and I don’t have to worry about a few falls like I have to with the Apple Pencil.
This is the exact one I have. Like always, I buy two of whatever I really like. I must have one somewhere, unused and waiting to be used.
This is a comparison. The glide definitely works with the M2 iPad, but after getting used to the Logitech one, I simply cannot go back. While I try not to use logi on principle, this is an exception.
Btw thanks…that Logitech one seems good but I am leaning more towards @dhruv_sharan as it’s really cheap and if it is enough for writing notes than good enough for me.
As someone who has been using tablets exclusively for writing, I would really, really disagree. The most important parts of the writing experience are the pen and the surface. The surface can be adjusted (matte screens, paper-like protectors, plain glass, change the pen tips, etc), depending on the preference.
The feel of the writing instrument is something that makes a lot of physical difference.
These are some of the pens I use depending on what and where I am writing. I use all three OSes fairly frequently to write on. I have two surface devices, two iPad (Air and Pro), and three Samsung tablets that I regularly use. And the pen makes all the difference.
That said, if it is occasional notes, anything will do. But once you get a good pen, you will beging to wonder why you suffered for so long in the first place.
For me, the best pens are for the Samsung - the Wacom One (extreme right), and for Surface (the Surface Pen - better than the flex one), and for Apple - the logitech Crayon.
