ASUS P5Q Pro. I’m doing 3.8 Gz on my Q9550 without any issues on it
Nice.
But there are many others doing 3.6-3.8Ghz or higher with Q6600/Q9450 on their IP35, P5Q-E, TPower I45, etc etc, maybe pushing higher FSB through their mobos for the same 24x7 clock speed.
So what did you prove by your post and how have you helped the OP?
I fail to see any remarkable point in your post that may suggest P5Q Deluxe is better than P5QE and he should spend more for the former.
And I fail to understand what you’re talking about. If we talk about cash, then
P5QPro << P5Q-E << P5Q Deluxe
so my point is if on could get good enough juice from P5Q-Pro, there’s no point in spending extra cash on Deluxe one

did I say it, well I need glasses
hey guys c’mon only 4replies…
overclocking isn’t a problem on both…
i want to know whether the extra 2k if i shed in a deluxe…
would that be appropriate…?
is it worth the investment or P5Q Express is evenly compatible with it or better
without considering the crossfiring support on deluxe
I’d get the P5Q-E (not Express). Better cooling on the MOSFETs than the Pro, slightly better voltage stabilisation. The P5Q-D only has the Expressgate mounted on an SSD, while the -E does it on the HDD IIRC. Not worth the 2k difference, along with 8-phase v. 16 phase power regulation/
Where are you from? Are you going to buy it from your dealer?
Don’t just look at plain performance, even though that’s a core requirement. Look at the complete package, price/performance ratio, stability, after sales service and ease of RMA. The last two are crucial when you are buying an Asus product. Search this forum for more information
which forum?
pls post the link!
yeah i am getting it from my dealer!!!
i am from Mumbai-Thane
Well, I am talking about this forum and this particular thread. This is not to put you off but to make you well informed before you jump it. Mind you, Asus products are not bad at all, it’s just that it’s after sales service sucks.
Go through the various posts on Rashi/Asus, and then make an informed decision.
which one is more stable in overclocking express or deluxe??
the P5Q-E would be a good option…
