Kingston hyperx/fury.
G.Skill, Corsair, Teamgroup I tried all three and all worked great for me.
Once G. Skill RAM got errors so I sent it for RMA and got a new kit. This too I used on 2 builds. From 2013-2018
Corsair no problem until I sold it off for 6 years I used it on 2 builds. From 2018-2025
Teamgroup is my latest AM5 setup build DDR5 RAM until now no problem. 2025 March onwards.
I used Transcend in 2008-2013 no problems until I sold them off.
Zion I used from 2000-2008 in 2 builds no problems until I sold them off.
Corsair, due to no hassle, no questions asked RMA, though needed only once in last 13 years.
I prefer G.skill, Kingston & Crucial. worked great for me till now
i’ve personally owned a few ram sticks over the years, 2017 onwards.
I never checked to see if any of the models i owned had longer than 3 years of warranty by manufacturer since i just assumed 3 years was standard. But in my experience there’ve been higher failed RAM slots on a motherboard if the slot was unused for too long, especially the case for when me and my friends owned 4 dimm slot motherboards and only used 2 slots for years and years). So unless you have too high end of a RAM stick that requires way too much unnecessary voltage and/or requires too high end of a motherboard to even keep the ram stable inside windows, you should generally be fine in any other case.
A regular max frequency kit required for gaming before you start to spend too much, like 3200MHz at CL16 or 6000MHz at CL30 is pretty stable even on budget boards now. So care about variables like:
I came across RMA report data on MVP Insight’s YouTube channel (themvp.in) this video also shows data of other components GPU, MOTHERBOARD, CPU etc.
*G.Skill RMA rate shown higher because of incompatibility with some ASUS motherboards, as explained in the video. Other brands rates are worse than this two. According to this video https://youtu.be/rVuxULXglMo?t=213
In my city they need invoice with serial no !
That’s obvious, how else they would ascertain if the product is in warranty period.
in many cities they do not need anything,
the label itself has serial no and warranty is by serial.
I needed RMA only once, due to power surge, Corsair PSU went kaput taking Corsair RAM with it.
At RMA centre i handed over PSU and RAM along with Photo copy of Invoice. They simply took PSU and RAM, and said - will call you back when replacements arrive in approx 15-20 days.
Got a call back in 2 weeks, and received new replacements.
2 friends have had similar experiences, so Corsair has been our default brand for PSU and RAM.
Teamgroup.
Corsair and Kingston for RMA services.
Kingston. It’s been in my old PC for the past 7 years, haven’t had any issues whatsoever.
My current PC has G.Skill tho, let’s see how long it lasts lol
Among RAM: GSkill & Crucial because mostly they are cost-effective for what they offer but not unknown brands.
If its about Rams its the usual suspects like Shantaram, Shriram, Balram, Abhiram, Vikram,Tukaram,Gangaram etc all except Sangram for obvious reasons.
had issue with Kingston for Rma.
not sold locally so Rma is almost non existing,
evm has better rma than many known brands.
