Why I get no buyers

I am kinda new here and thought to sell my ram in marketplace , bought enclave plus and thought it would get instantly sold , I even offered at a low price for a new product and other more regular products are getting noticed , is it because I am new here?

How lazy are you to not just do a simple handwritten note?

Secondly it’s not even been a day since you posted your thread.

The sales here are not supply based. They are driven by demand. If there are no buyers, you will not get an offer.. I have a sale thread I posted last month.. Still not sold..

Brother, no one buys a 8gb single stick in DDR5. Most people would want 32gigs nowadays with 16GBx2. Also 16GB single stick is available on Amazon for 3500.

It would sell only if it was for a significant discount like 30-40% off and that too after some days.

First, your posts need to follow the community guidelines.

Second, your posts are not even a day old. It takes time to get buyers. You need double coincidence of wants here.

Third, this is not an ecommerce platform. This is a tech community where trade is a side hustle. It mostly depends upon goodwill and coincidence. Your newness maybe a factor but do not expect that out of odd few thousands who are active here immediately want to buy what you have to sell.

Have patience. It will happen. Just like everything else in life.

Thanks for this info. It seemed slow to me as well but then again, my prices are likely too high (mainly to stave off low-ballers).

I hope you get to sell your stuff. I glanced at your post and it was so detailed. Good luck.

Oh my bad , I will wait in patience then

You bought it for 2k and are selling for 2.1k + shipping or am I missing something here?

As others mentioned, the reason we use handwritten and not just a text on a phone is because that would be easily editted on Photoshop. Handwritten paper is more difficult to photoshop.

Thank you and yeah I will wait

Handwritten “username” and “date” are non negotiable, As far as I know. People post screen when they have written their note with digital pen.

I really think you should correct that. Here no one will judge you for your writing but the post may get flagged and deleted due to absence of the note.

My bad I will edit the post , it’s just I wanted to include the shipping fee but I didn’t mention ig in the post i will pay for shipping

No one would have done the same way you did. If they have, it either somehow escaped the moderators or it was for an article/item which was not physical (ex: digital voucher codes, gpu/cpu performance benchmark results).

Yours should be a handwritten note, it doesn’t have to be good, it has to be legible enough to be readable.

Ok then I will change the post , thank you

Yeah Ig ,I really hoped to get this out of my hand since I won’t stay in India for long , stupid mistake I did on elitehubs and they won’t replace this for SODIMM , thanks though I will look unto this and change the pricing

People of this forum are tech enthusiasts and do give a fair bit of research when buying products and so the pricing has to be really good for them to sell quickly. Also do keep in mind that posts that provide complete and transparent information can attract more people. New members can also mention to provide testing warranty and payment after receiving the product as a means to be attractive.

But most importantly follow the forum guidelines always.

And only do this part with senior/respected members, and not with other new members.

the ram module sells on 2300-2500 in websites , and I put it up for 2100 include shipping, I could go lower but I bought it using my parent’s money and I am regretting that I made such a mistake

As many have already said. Patience is a virtue and helps a lot here.

Own Mistakes are the third best way to learn lessons in life.
First being learning from guidance / advice.
Second being learning from others mistakes.
I would say to not worry for trivial steps in life. There is a lot more that can and will go wrong along the wonderful one time only path called life.
Just thank for the lesson learnt sooner than later and continue living while giving

I will stop here before I get tagged as an delusional / weird member

Happy weekend.

I understand your problem, but is it not possible to return the product?

Also bump your thread, maybe it will get more attention
