Windows XP Shutdown Problem

Hi Guys,

I installed Windows XP. I have installed the XP using the same CD earlier without any problem.. But don know what happened this time, i am not able to shut down.

It logs off properly but later on it gets hanged. I am even tried restarting options.. but in vain..

Can somebody help me..

Have you tried starting you pc in safe mode & shutdown after that.
it works or you faced the same problem.
