I have a TUF A15, the problem with it is that it has a 5900hx, and since ryzens dont have thunderbolts, Im limited to only 2 external displays. I tried usb displaylink adapters from amazon but they were pretty crap and not really displaylink. Now I have tried using my ipad as a wireless display and it runs pretty smoothly. So can anyone help me assess whether I can use a thin client like a HP T430 (Intel Celeron N4000), connect 2 displays and use them as wireless displays for my windows machine.
@rsaeon @napsterlabs may know. Btw, how exactly are you using wireless displays with a windows pc. Do you mean to say you are running remote desktop GUI on clients/ipad?
You can share the screen of your extra pc with your main PC over network I guess that’s what he meant.
Yeah, its an asus’s tool called glideshare, very seemless, very fast. I have a second windows and i also use its screen sometimes as windows laptops have miracast built in
Dell has usb docks that have built-in displaylink adapters, they work well, just not best for video (unless if you have cores to spare).
You can get them for a few thousand used. The type-c ones allow for two extra displays, the single type-a one allows for three monitors.
I was not able to find anything like this on the net..can you tell the correct name and is it a feature or an asus tool. A download or demo link will be cool!
Damn my bad, its glideX. Sorry got confused
