Work Done - French Translator needed

Hello everyone, I’m in a bit of pickle. Got a video from a client for editing but turns out the video is in French. I need someone who can translate the video in english or hindi and provide a transcript or audio file.
The video is about an hour long. And I will pay for it. Please DM as I need the translation done in next few hours so the editor can start working.

I have it running locally on [my homelab](’

). But for now you may do the following:

  1. Extract the audio (either online or locally using vlc)

  2. Set up Google Colab and install Whisper AI and FFmpeg

  3. Upload the file in step 1 to Colab

  4. Specify “French” as the source language using the ISO 639 language code

  5. Run the translation command with the “translate” task parameter

Don’t know if it works well for french but you can try this. The maximum uploaded file size is 1GB(audio) / 10 GB(video).

I think I got it done using adobe firefly, On a free account there was a limit of 10 minutes, and luckily I had enough account to split the audio and translate.
I tried the 1st part and the translation is decent, rest of the parts are under processing now.

I did try this one, the translation was not good enough compared to Adobe Firefly.

How long is the video? I can try asking my friend if they are willing to do it, no guarantees though

Thanks, but I got it translated.

I tried both, but anyways, I needed french to be translated in english, not the other way. And it’s done now.

The original video is a gameplay that needed to be edited, but since editor didn’t knew french I needed to get it translated so he could understand what he is saying.
And for that purpose the basic translation was enough. Since the final output will be in french only. The English one is just a placeholder.
