Workstation for Wan 2.2 (14B) & ComfyUI - Dual 3090s vs Single 4090?

I have budget around 2 to 3 lakhs. I am building a rig specifically for Local AI Video Generation. My main goal is to run the new **Wan 2.2 14B** model locally via ComfyUI. I also use SVD and AnimateDiff, but Wan 2.2 is the priority now due to the motion quality. I am stuck on the GPU choice because of Wan 2.2's VRAM hunger. Option A: Single RTX 4090 (24GB) Pros: Faster inference speed, newer architecture (Ada Lovelace), better resale. Cons: 24GB seems tight for the Wan 2.2 **14B** model. I suspect I'd be stuck using the smaller 5B model or aggressive quantization (FP8/INT8). Option B: Dual Used RTX 3090s (24GB x 2 = 48GB Total) Pros: 48GB VRAM pool (if NVLink/Split works well). This theoretically lets me load the full 14B model comfortably. Cons: Slower inference, heat/power nightmare, and I'm unsure if ComfyUI handles dual-GPU splitting efficiently for video models yet. My specific questions: Is anyone here running Wan 2.2 14B on a single 4090? If so, what are your generation times like for a 5-second clip at 720p? Does the MoE (Mixture of Experts) architecture in Wan 2.2 benefit more from the raw compute of the 4090, or is VRAM capacity the only thing that matters here? If I go the Dual 3090 route, do I absolutely need a motherboard with widespread PCIe slots (x8/x8 bifurcation), or is PCIe x1 bandwidth enough for the second card in inference tasks? Thanks!

B650 ProART Creator is also an option, it has two x16 PCIE 4.0 slots which can run in x8/8. I got it from ESM gaming in Chennai in September. At that point the guys had two units I think.
