I want this cable to connect my old Hi-8 Handy cam with XFX 8600GT graphic card.

A normal 4 pin S Video cable should work on a 7 Pin one. thats how I sue S video out form my gfx card and laptop

+1 to what SunnyBoi said. The 4-pin S-video male plugs straight into the 7-pin receptacle. Try it - it worked for me.
Connecting ur handycam with 8600Gt will be useless if u want to watch the handycam movies on pc , 8600GT can only output video through s-video .if u want to transfer movies from handycam to pc , use a tv tuner card with s-video input .
Hi ROBO, U mean to say, I will nt able to save HANDYCAM videos on my HDD via XFX 8600GT… Any solution regarding this…
8600GT is not a video in its only a TV out. so buy a TV Tuner or a low cost Pinnacle capture card.BTW the cable should not be a problem as its a very regular one.
