I dont think so. They have explicitly stated usb type external hard drives in the list.

Nice catch. And I stand corrected. Turns out you don’t need a BIS certification for spares like an internal HDD, but it requires you to prove these are for manufacturing and maintenance. Reselling them in the open market is technically not fraud, but still a grey area.

OP would be really exited to see his thread having 24 replies on the forum main page. Only afterwards he will be really pissed off.

OP @jjtomar Be careful when you purchase refurb units. Do consider safeguards and tips available in this forum. Also whether you want SATA or SAS drives? Where are you located?

If importing look at what others here have told you. If getting it locally try getting bare requirements, because in the current scenario it is very costly.
