Well, I guess that’s it for buying any possible game pass subscriptions for me. The price increases are extremely absurd. The PC game pass went up 109%, from 449 to 939 a month. Game Pass Ultimate went up by 67% from 829 to 1389 a month.
Whoever wants to stock up can do so by getting codes from Amazon. The seller Euronet still has the old prices, from what I can see. I think I’ll just stick to finishing the large backlog of games I’ve already purchased or claimed for free, and not stock up on the subscription out of fear, and also because I don’t feel like supporting Microsoft after this horrible decision.
I think they’ve shot themselves in the foot with this.
