Are there any good power bank brands near 1k too? I am finding boat, portronics and such. But I am not sure whether they are good or not.
When you are ready to spend Rs 1k. WHy not spent Rs 500 more and get a good reliable quality.

Otherwise if you still want something reasonable at 1k…I have had good experience with Urbn powerbank… I saw they were going for 800rs for 20000 mah on Flipkart.
You can check on Amazon. It is a decent brand as per my experience. Built quality is average but product functionality is decent for the price.

Xiaomi 10000mah at around Rs 1000 after using supercoins and Bhim/supermomey discount on Flipkart
Avoid buying 10000 mah in today’s time unless its too light and easy to carry is your main concern.
Reason being most of us today easily have more than just mobile that could require charging while travelling ( tablets, camera, ear phones, buds, watch, video games)
even 20000mah to me feels less these days but that is because I travel for multiple days but for any person here. I will say dont buy 10000mah . You will soon feel you needed more specially if you have mutliple device.

Why not go for some better brands like ugreen or anker? I know the price is double as compared to boat or others, but atleast the risk of damage is less. I saw a video by gyan therapy few months back where he talked about exact same thing
Not worth it over Xiaomi. Xiaomi is pretty solid deal and worth the price and known for reliability.
Anker is double the price and though most people talk great about it . my personal experience is poor with Anker.( 2 power bank and one got swollen earlier than expected and second button gets stuck)
Only thing that makes Anker very cool is its built quality and premium looks.

URBN, in my experience has been a reliable brand, I’ve purchased several of their 22.5W 20000mah powerbanks (self and family) and had 3 of my friends purchase them, all are running fine (oldest one is 4 y/o at this point), and everyone is happy with the performance (supports PD, no PPS though).
Decent build quality, accidentally dropped one from waist height, with the USB cable connected, which broke the mounting posts for the PCB, disassembled it, and re-attached the mounting posts with 2 part epoxy. In the process found out that they do have a cell temperature sensor attached to the cells, and the build looked neat.

I agree with you. Even I have an Anker Powerbank which got swollen just after the warranty expired.
What did you do with your swollen powerbank? Threw it away as e-waste?

see. I have been saying this since long time here to people not to fall into Anker’s built quality and all. it is at most and average product . Even USA amazon has many such bad reviews for Anker.
as for what i did…No. actually still used it for sometime but now I think it is just lying . I will throw it next time I go home.
