Was waiting for time, but now confused whether I should choose Oneplus One over this. Of course they belong to 2 different tiers, but ai usually use mobile for 2+ years

I might also just buy it for mom or dad. Been using the Mi3 since some time, and am very impressed with the phone. The mediatek SOC, seems decent, better than Snapdragon 400, more on the lines of Snapdragon 600 but a less powerful GPU.
Octa Core 3G one is best i suppose. 1.7GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 SoC > Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 SoC
Since 4G is distant dream for India, best to use 8999rs one.
