the 7200.12 Seagate 1TB is the fastest 7200rpm HDD and 3.9k best VFM too..

Just bought it from Ebay India for Rs. 3734.90 with a 15% discount coupon and a friend bought it for Rs. 3744 in Bangalore.

well this was originally my thread

i bought the seagate 500gb 7200.12 only for 2200 shipped via ebay...

i bought a 500 gb as its good considering per gb price ,

in another 6 months or so , prices of HDD's will fall and will buy another then ,

so i think it as a good buy for 2200

has been running good for 300 hrs now.. with HD tach scores of around 109mbps at 1% cpu utilization!!
