Reminds of a case where few people died after eating vada-paav from roadside vendor in Mumbai.
Vendor cooked potatoes in a metal container which was originally used to store agricultural chemical (pesticide, etc.).
As for me, happened many years back after eating mutton biriyani from a non-descript shop inside Kalbadevi area.
>15 times to washroom, intermittent vomiting, stomach pain, couldn't stand up by myself. Friends carried me to auto, then helped the steps on hospital, Dr. found I had acute food infection, kept on drips, pain killers, heavy antibiotics, sleep medicine, injections, whatnot. I still get a kind of pain in lower bottom left side of abdomen.
