120v 220v adapter confusion

Just got my RC copter delivered... :d

But darn shit i overlooked the power rating..and straight forward connected it to 220VAC

The power adapter is rated at 120VAC input... i used it for 2-3 hr, when the copter didn't get charged.. i looked at adapter and found that its rated at 120VAC

Is the adapter might be damaged or dead ?? planning to buy a 220VAC to 120VAC converter today ..

Also any idea how much will it cost ?

Charger would have blown up with fireworks (would have at least made a sound) if it was in working condition when you plugged it in. My guess is that it may not have been in working condition at all. You might be better off looking for a compatible 220V charger altogether.

yea the charger was burnt, hope fully i ordered 2 nos copter.. charger of 2nd one is working fine :X:x.. just bought a 220v to 110v converter and started charging my copter
