I want to buy a new SSD of 128 GB for my desktop pc. I am confused about which one to buy. I have found on internet that these 2 are quite popular -

Crucial 128GB m4 Solid State Drive - @ Rs 7800 -
Crucial 128GB m4 Solid State Drive

OCZ 128GB Vertex 4 SSD - @ Rs 7500
OCZ 128GB Vertex 4 SSD

- Please suggest which one should I go for.

- And if you aware of any better deal from any other site by using coupons etc. then please let me know.

- And the last question is - Do I need an invoice in order to get the warranty on these drives, or they provide the warranty based on serial number itself, like the western digital hard drives ? I am asking this because my local pc guy does not provides the invoice.

Thanks and regards.

What matters is realiability

Crucial , Samsung , Kingston most reliable brands in market
The Kingston HyperX is Sandforce. I wouldn't call it reliable. Brand has nothing to do with reliability. Intel makes reliable drives but still had the 8MB bug on the 320 series.

^ Yeah they both have identical components. Marvell xxxx9174 controller + 25nm Micron MLC NAND. Plextor firmware seems to be getting more performance out of it though.
