Up for sale is an custom hybrid tube amp "Millet" its purely handmade, by me alone. This amp carries a popular design by TTVJ, which is further upgraded and improved by me.
Features :
1) Very Powerful, low output Impedance, drives both dynamics and orthos very well with good synergy. I particularly built this amp keeping in mind the orthos, but not compromising dynamics even a bit.
2) Hybrid design, Input stage controlled by 12AU7A tube, output stage controlled by Dual In line package Op-Amp, that makes it easily to roll both tubes and op-amps.
3) Easy to change the sound signature by tube and op-amp rolling, since making the sound signature fully personalized.
4) Inbuilt PSU, with grounding makes sure it an all-in-one unit and optimum performance.
About the sound, The Millet excels O2 in terms of speed, power, versatility, and excitement. But O2 wins in terms of sheer details retrieval and soundstage. O2 sounds laggy, boring, lacking punch on the bass with an HD600.
HD600 sings when paired Millet amp, it is more musical and wins in rest of the terms. Tighter and deeper bass, clear mids and highs. No more lag and lifelessness; HD600's sound more authentic now, retaining most of the dynamics of the music. Compared to the Bottlehead crack OTL amp, Millet puts up 80% of the crack, with crack having slight [15%] edge on soundstage, detail retrieval and dynamics.
Life-Time warranty is guaranteed on The Millet. In case of any failure, I will fix/replace it anytime, for free of charge.
Also note that, The Millet has small scratches on the outer part of the wooden case, which is quite common for any amp that I build. But its a marvel from the inside. With superior design and majority of the components imported.
