that takes into consideration all the schools and budget universities buying as well.

if you want proof just go to any good university abroad and look what students there are using.

The burden of proof lies with the one who is quoting 80% market share for Mac os, not with the other person to disprove a random assumption.
 
Lol I just mentioned why Mac would be a good option based on my experiences.
Seems I need to perform a t-test on my university’s laptops to say that

You didn't recommend mac based on your personal opinion you said it is a fact that 80% of university students use mac
