Does the HP one come with a card-reader? I guess all laptops come with that but it is not mentioned.

I guess Dell Vostro will be better ..the HP 630 is basic budget laptop.

@dasgupta_arup ~ I am also looking for the same i.e. i5 2nd Generation with 15.6". Can anybody suggest cheapest i5 2nd generation laptop with 15.6" screen.

Will go for dell vostro 1550 and then HP 630 because of better screen, build and way better ass !!

@bodmas,
if you want cheapeast...might look for acer 5755...might come well below 30k with DOS, check the local dealer or HP 630 is the best bet...but i would personally go for Vostro :)

Guys! After lot of research, I am planning to buy following AMD laptop which is equivalent to i5 with an additional GPU in it:

ASUS X53TA-SX096D

15.6" HD Glare

AMD Sabine

A6-3400M Quad, [Proccy equivalent to i5]

(1.4G,4M)"

AMD HD 6650 1G DDR3 VRAM [Dedicated GPU]

2G DDR3 1333

500GB

5400rpm

DVD RW 8X SM DL

802.11 b/g/n

BT 3.0

0.3M

6 Cell

DOS

1-Year Global

On-Site

USB 3.0

HDMI

For: Rs.27.5k

Its seems like best configuration in this price range. The i5 has more CPU power[+ Video editing, Photo rendering], the A6 has more GPU power [Gaming].
