Hey fellas,

My dad runs a private school and he needs a 15.6 inch laptop for office use...very basic office

use.

1.What's your budget ?

->20k

2.What's your primary usage of the notebook?

->Running MS Office applications,Corel Draw,Adobe Pagemaker,some school management

software,viewing photos,running videos(not of high quality).

There is 2 ASUS under your budget but don't buy online do not hesitate to pay 500-1000 more at local shop or delaer as you can check & verify the product before you buy.

I personally think that you should increase your budjet up to 2000/- & go with DELL.

Don't go with Toshiba (if it has same quality standard @ 2008)

Letsbuy gives option of cash on delivery...so probably we can verify the product before we pay for it .

Is Toshiba that bad ?
 
YOUR CAN NOT OPEN THE PRODUCT before your PAY for same.

If itching hard to buy online than GO WITH dell only, if DOA prodct arrived than you need to spend on Return Shipping which may be not cheap as you think as it's electornic product & LAPTOP you may need Insured Shipping & lots of hassel..... hushhh

We may buy it offline if it is that dangerous/costly to buy online..but is it at all sensible to take a chance with a brand like Toshiba over Dell or Samsung/Acer ?

So my dad finally bought the Toshiba Satellite C665-P5010.It's looking good but i am unable to find its drivers for windows xp on it's website

according to the website it has only win 7 drivers for the laptop
