Storage Solutions 160 GB TOSHIBA HDD got Kaput

I have a TOSHIBA hard drive 160 GB. its not working. Its a laptop hard drive I was using it with a Transcend casing. I bought it some time ago. its in warranty. It holds 3 years warranty.. I don't think in India it can be replaced.

Can someone let me know how can I get it replaced. If its not possible in india then can someone do it. It may be replaced from Singapore or USA.

I have PMed KMD for the same. I am not sure whether he will do it or not. But anyways, if someone knows any service which does that or someone going to US for some time can get it replaced for me..

the past 6-7 days seems like a hdd kaput week :( so many , hdd kaput threads ...

p.s try the hdd in another casing to check if its actually a dead hdd or a dead casing , thats the point advantage of ur situation.....
 
OK.. I have PMed KMD .. lets see..

I have not tried it in another casing.. have tried in a different laptop though. but did not work.. and it actually makes a lot of noise. so I know for sure its the HDD.
