Have been hearing good things about Panasonic installation/ASS. No idea on Daikin.

What about quality of compressor, condenser, need for stabiliser, etc.

Please advise. :)

If you are getting the panasonic inverter for the price of the R22, grab the panasonic. They are excellent ACs in build quality. Daikins might be quieter but that's about it.

National is now panasonic.
I have only good things to share with the national ACs.
No problem whatsoever. Been using it since 2000.
I would go for a panasonic any day.

Actually I take my previous statement back. The panasonic is quieter too. So its kind of a no contest!

^ Yup- forgot to mention that earlier. 39/31 dB(A) indoor noise level for the Daikin vs 38/26 for the Panasonic.

Thank you all- now hoping that the Panny is within 30K. :)

BTW, what is the stabiliser model i need?

V-Guard VG400?

^Yup should suffice. BTW, its the end of season of AC's with monsoon already set in. I would advice you to buy next year if its just summer that you are targeting.

I have two Panasonics (non-inverter) purchased this summer. One issue I've observed which I must share is a definitely audible click of the AC shutter every time the compressor kicks in. Might be a non-issue for most but could be an issue for not-so-sound sleepers.

Otherwise the ACs have been a VFM purchase.

Feeling a lil busted :gap:

Was expecting the Daikin FT35G could be had for 27K-28K.

So went searching around the same mark.

Here are the prices i have got till now-

Panasonic econ Inverter Silver- quoted 33K + installtion iirc.

Panasonic Pearl 1 ton (3Star,2.85 COP, 9.8 EER, without Inverter, 5.4A, 41/30 dB, ...) - quoted 22.5K; now 24.5K with installation

Panasonic Sapphire 1 ton (5Star, 3.17 COP, 10.8 EER, without Inverter, 4.9A, 41.29 dB, ...)- 27.5K (not sure with or without installtion)

Daikin FTE35 1 ton (2.64 COP, calculated EER 9.01, without Inverter, 5.6A, 39/31 dB, ...)- quoted 29.5K; now 25K with installation

Daikin FT35G series not available or not ins tock or something.

Update: Please note change in prices.

Mostly getting 2x Panasonic Pearl 1 ton or 2x Daikin FTE35. Kindly suggest which?

Are the prices ok?

P.S. Also need AC in 2 rooms that are side-by-side. Should i consider multi-split ?

Shouldn't the overall consumption be lower for 2 separate split units?

Using a VG400 with the Panasonic Cube. No issues there. Panasonic's customer service is top notch! Had received a call within a fortnight after the installation of the unit at my residence, confirming if everything is working the way it should, or should the service engineer be sent for anything. Did a free service last month. I think there are 2 more free services due. :D
